Who We Are
No Hound Unhomed is a no-kill animal shelter located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. We specialize in dogs rejected or considered not adoptable by other shelters and/or rescues. At No Hound Unhomed (NHU), we aim to rehabilitate these dogs through socialization and training to prepare them for happy and successful lives in their “furever” homes. No Hound Unhomed is collocated in Camp Bow Wow Colorado Springs Central, located at:

At No Hound Unhomed, we do not actively collect personal data from site visitors for any reason.
If you choose to contact us through the contact form located on our “Contact Us” page, you voluntarily submit your name and email address to NHU through a Third-Party plugin. Your information entered in this manner is not used by NHU or the plugin author to track users, get written/stored to any database or get sent to any external servers. Use of the contact form does not utilize cookies. By using the contact form, you consent to No Hound Unhomed using that data to contact you regarding your comment, question, or concern. All information collected by NHU will be maintained confidentially for only so long as necessary to address your current need. Submission of your information does not enter you into a mailing list or provide NHU or its representatives with future consent for unsolicited contact or correspondence.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, and the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Comments on our site are disabled by default, therefore no data is collected in this manner.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Contact forms

Cookies

No Hound Unhomed does not actively utilize site analytics. Who We Share Your Data With

Your contact information may be shared internally with NHU representatives between/within our main location and/or our satellite locations as listed above (see “Who We Are.”) Data shared internally in this manner is done so in the interest of serving your needs as a potential adoptive pet parent.
How Long We Retain Your Data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
For contact information submitted via the contact form, your information is maintained, unless otherwise legally required to be retained, only so long as necessary to address your current need. Utilization of the contact form is not construed as consent for your data/contact information to be added to any mailing list or for any other future, unsolicited contact from NHU or its representatives.
What Rights You Have Over Your Data
